Complex Case Consultation for Service Providers

Attachment Matters provides complex case consultation to service providers across out of home care, family law, education, intensive family support, and child counselling spaces.

Our case consultation can support agencies to;

  • identify and address training gaps for foster, kin, and residential care providers, at pre or post registration/placement stages

  • reduce inter-parental conflict, and increase likelihood of agreement in family law parenting disputes

  • increase parental capacity for co-regulation, thereby increasing children’s capacity for self-regulation, and reducing challenging behaviour

  • increase child safety and child-centredness when working with vulnerable children and families

  • create classroom plans to foster increased attentional control, and greater emotional and behavioural regulation

  • develop and use evidence-based interventions to achieve therapeutic outcomes for children and families in complex contexts

Attachment Matters’ complex case consultation aims to improve child and family outcomes with robust application of research to case conceptualisation, therapeutic formulation, decision-making, and practice in complex cases.

If you are working with complex family systems across the out of home care, family law, children’s therapeutic or education service fields, and feel your case conceptualisations, associated clinical formulations, and work based on these premises, might benefit from our expertise, please contact us to enquire about this service.
